I know that Kanye West was a controversial choice as a headline act for Glastonbury 2015.
And yes, he’s a man who sometimes opens his mouth before he engages his brain.
And yes, I know he’s a man whose public persona comes into the room ten minutes before he does.
However he writes some sharp, clever lyrics and he has an incredible talent for working with samples. The breadth of his choice is astonishing, from Ray Charles and Chaka Khan to Daft Punk, Black Sabbath and Bon Iver.
